Our rates for preparation / analysis are shown below; given rates are per analysis. Click on the specific preparation / analysis for details. Contact Andrew Schauer with questions. Rates are updated annually (current as of April 4, 2018). Payment is accepted via check or wire transfer.

IsoLab is a research lab; our internal projects have priority access. The current turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. Labor intensive methods (e.g. clumped isotopes) could easily have a 6 month turnaround time. We make no turnaround time guarantee. Researchers with time constraints should contact Andrew Schauer.

We accept natural abundance samples only. No labeled material. No exceptions.

Pricing Rate Definitions

UW Budget Number, Lab Provided Labor (R3)
To be eligible for this rate, you must provide a UW budget number for billing. An IsoLab technician will perform the sample analysis for your sample set. Rates are per analysis.
UW Budget Number, User Provided Labor (R1)
To be eligible for this rate, you must provide a UW budget number for billing as well as have the ability and availability to run the sample analysis yourself from start to finish. If training is required, the Lab Provided Labor rate applies until you are proficient. Rates are per analysis.
Off Campus Funding, User Provided Labor (R2)
To be eligible for this rate, you must have the ability and availability to run the sample analysis yourself from start to finish. If training is required, the Lab Provided Labor rate applies until you are proficient. Analyses will be paid for through an off-campus address. Rates are per analysis.
Off Campus Funding, Lab Provided Labor (R4)
This is the default billing rate when no UW budget number is provided and your sample analysis was performed by an IsoLab lab technician. Rates are per analysis.
